In life there are always choices to make.
You’ve made many decisions in your career and life. You’ve decided things like what school to attend, who to marry, or whether to have children. You’ve decided which company to join, or whether to start your own business. At times, you’ve needed to choose a path and stick to it.

At Gabrian we’ve been through ups and downs. We’ve had times when the road ahead was smooth and flat. We’ve had times when we needed to push uphill.
There have been some rough times during our 20+ years in business.
Two of the biggest challenges we’ve faced as a company were:
1) The fallout of 9/11, and
2) The recession of 2008-2009
On September 11, 2001 terrorists attacked the USA and killed thousands. People were devastated. Aside from the horror, fear, and sadness everyone felt, there was economic pain. The country’s recession worsened. The DOW dropped more than 600 points. At the time, our company was still young, so it was especially challenging for us.
Later in the same decade, the US housing bubble burst.
The country plunged into a recession that lasted almost two years. In 2008 and 2009, the country was crippled financially. Companies needed to tighten their belts. People lost their jobs. But Gabrian was able to make it through the recession. We had no staff reductions.
There have been plenty of good times and successes for us too.
We’ve reached some pretty significant milestones:
1) We established our office in China
2) We established our presence in India
3) We began our partnership with Zhuhai Vastbright Technology
4) We became a worldwide representative for Eastar
5) We grew our team from 5 people to 25
Now we’re hiring more sales reps in both the US and Europe to help us reach more milestones in the future. We’re focusing on our core strengths while providing great value to our customers.

We know that serving our customers well is the key to success. That means we don’t cut corners. We hire employees that will treat our customers the right way. We make sure the quality of our products is 100% tested before we ship them. We give our customers competitive prices, and we deliver orders on time.
